We bought this along with One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book (Chronicle Books Staff), which cost another dollar or so. The Chronicle book has a nice hard cover gold embossed type and is the perfect diary size. In contrast, this one is so plan, from the paperback cover to the inside paper, that I actually thought it was the galley (proofreading copy) and not the final book. Some people (maybe the sight impaired?) might prefer the bigger lines to write on, but the general quality and impression is so poor, I would be embarrassed to give it as a gift. Back it goes.

I got this for my daughter’s birthday in October. She loves it! She told me the other day that it’s one of the best gifts she’s ever received and loves it’s easy 5 year lay-out.

I like this one cause its much larger and gives you plenty of room and it opens wide enough to write in it

I really love the concept of this book and the simple design. So far it has been durable (2 mos). I would prefer it to be a little smaller but other than that it has been great and I definitely recommend.

A nice 5 year journal. 365 pages and 5 lined sections on each page

I bought this for myself as a gift. A week into the new year, I've remembered to write a little something every day. I can't wait for a couple years to pass so that I'm able to look back on each day from previous years.
