Such a great overview, I really enjoyed this. Smart and effective, Jackson's approach yielded the best abs I've ever had. And best part, it wasn't THAT hard! Diligence and commitment to the plan and the results are there. Highly recommend if you are looking for a plan for six pack abs that works.
This book is worth it for the chapter on intermittent fasting alone. Throw in all of the other gold Jackson drops on you in other chapters and we are truly not worthy. If this book doesn't get you excited to start taking things seriously and finally get a six pack then I don't know what will. Super practical science-based advice that makes so much sense when you see it laid out this way. Highly recommend.
Jackson was my trainer for a long time until he moved to LA. I never thought I could get a 6 pack but working with him I did. He really knows what he's talking about -- from exercise to nutrition. The proof is in the pudding: look at his own results! I'll never understand why people hire trainers or read fitness books from people who are out of shape. Jackson is the real deal. Read his book if you want to get real results.
I was somewhat apprehensive when purchasing this e-book, in anticipation that it would be like all the rest of the books out there that give you lofty goals that are most of the time unattainable. I was pleasantly surprised (and relieved) to read Jackson's approach to fitness that really got me to view the journey in an entirely different way. His vulnerability made for relatability right off the bat - reading this book was honestly like getting advice from a friend. This isn't an "all or nothing" guide to abs, or health as a whole -- it's a "I know you're busy and want to enjoy life, so by simply being cognizant about certain areas of your life can make all the difference."I've already started implementing some of Jackson's practices and feel that the change in my mindset will have lasting affects on my physical body. I can't wait to read more of Jackson's work and would definitely recommend this book for anyone, regardless of where you are on your fitness journey.
Jackson knows his stuff. I went from a bloated 230 to a cut 195. There's no shortcut to doing the work, but having a roadmap - especially one as meticulously researched as this - is a great help. Thanks Jackson!
